coloratura soprano, Cinzia Forte is praised by international critics for the
uncommon elegance of her phrasing and remarkable stage presence. Mrs. Forte is
present on the billboards of the main Italian and European theaters such as the
Teatro alla Scala, the San Carlo in Naples, The Fenice in Venice, Teatro
Comunale in Bologna, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Teatro Regio in Turin,
the Opera in Rome, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, the ROH Covent Garden, the
Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Liceu in Barcelona, the Teatro de la Maestranza
in Seville, the Zurich Opera House, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysees in Paris, the
Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Teatro Real
in Madrid. Cinzia Forte has
lately added important roles to her repertoire: La contessa d’Almaviva in Le
Nozze di Figaro (Liège), Anna Bolena (title role, in Trieste), and
Desdemona in Otello (Pisa and Cagliari). Mrs Forte opened the Teatro San
Carlo 2013 season singing La Traviata, Michele Mariotti conducting and
Ferzan Ozpetek directing, more recently she
starred as Gilda in Rigoletto in Genoa, Fabio Luisi conducting and as Eleonora in Il Furioso all’Isola di San
Domingo in Bergamo, Rovigo and Savona and in the next months on tour in
Ravenna. She also
sang a gala concert with the ORT-Orchestra Regionale for the opening of the
Festival Incontri in Terra di Siena as well as Rossini’s Stabat Mater in
Trieste and Ljubljana.
Mrs Forte will return to the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in
Liège, where she will perform Rossini’s La Gazzetta.

Regularly
invited by the major theaters and opera festivals Paolo Arrivabeni is an expert
of Italian Operas particularly interested also in great Russian and German
composers; in the past seasons he had indeed conducted operas by Mahler, Strauss
and Musorgskij. M° Arrivabeni recently conducted La Favorite at the
Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, Traviata and Macbeth in
Dresden, La Forza del Destino and a Wagnerian Gala in Liège, Il
Trovatore at the Sferisterio Opera Festival, Macbeth and Nabucco at
the Staatsoper in Berlin, La Straniera in Marseille, Macbeth in
Copenaghen.

Staatsoper in Munich; Maria Stuarda, Nabucco at the Staatsoper in
Berlin; La Bohème at the New National Theatre in Tokyo; La Straniera at

Destino at the Grand Théâtre de Genève; La Rondine in Toulouse;
Moïse et Pharaon, Boris Godunov and I Due Foscari in Marseille; and Roberto
Devereux at the Teatro Comunale in Florence. In Liège M° Arrivabeni will
conduct Aida, La Cenerentola, Tosca, Les Pécheurs de Perles, Ernani,
Die Zauberflöte, La Bohème, Turandot, Nabucco, Otello.
